Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation on the television. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. De La Garza moved soon to Texas, where she studied in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before moving to Orlando, Florida. There she played various roles ranging from local independent films to international commercials. In spite of the minor role, she found that acting was her passion. Then she moved to New York and in 2001 she got her first acting gig in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most famous role was Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was a part of 85 episodes. The character later re-entered the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza's character was recognized with several nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was also awarded ALMA Award nods. The year 2008 was the time she was awarded the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for Outstanding Performances for a Dramatic Television Series. Just a few minutes later, De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring part. She played Marisol Delko, the wife of the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. Her most recent appearance on TV was as the character Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's mildly darker show Do No Harm. After a couple of episodes the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is the younger sibling of Cory and is Italian through heritage. She was raised in the family of a conservative and extremely religious. Milano was first introduced to acting at age seven old. Babysitters took her along for her first audition. Four girls selected from over 1,000 potential candidates were chosen by Milano. Milano has appeared on TV in commercials as well as off Broadway productions, including a musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
