Anna Gunn began acting as a child at Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio, where she continued her interest in performing on stage. She was a theatre student through Northwestern University and spent a period at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for a number of years before taking on film and television role. Anna's debut role was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. As a guest-star, Anna appeared in Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. It wasn't until the late 1990s when she was cast in a role in The Practice. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. She was cast as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. She also starred in the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn has also appeared on the stage in a David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also played a part in the show Numbered Day, which is which is a series of audio plays. The story of Breaking Bad is determined by the love story that exists between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their uneasy relationship. The degrading of this relationship is akin to Walter White's final years.
